Hi everyone,
As you guys may know I’m writing about San Francisco, its
restaurants, bars and near places that we as residents can visit. For that
reasons, I would like to ask you guys for more recommendations to expand my
list and have fun checking them out. This also would help me as my final
project for the class.
Anything will help; I’m pretty sure that each of us has
different experiences and know different places. Please feel free to add any
places; it could be a park, mall, restaurant, bar, theaters or any place where
you had fun, you may also want to check other people’s recommendations for your
own purposes.
The idea is to have more places to visit and know better our
city. Hopefully this blog will be helpful for you in the future. Have fun and enjoy..!
Honestly, I'd be interested in reading some things about where to go just around school. Like out into the Sunset. I've been to a few bars and places along Taraval that were really awesome. Kingdom of Dumplings on Taraval was one restaurant that I really enjoyed. And $2 taco and beer Tuesday at a place down Irving (Cannot remember the name!).
ReplyDeletedefinitely go to ALEXANDERS STEAK HOUSE, IF YOU FEEL LIKE GORGING YOURSELF. Sunday specials are 35$ for prime rib and a hamachi (yellow tail). best steak house you can ever go to, EVER. They have a stalk that's 300$!!! and alcohol for 500$ a glass!!! The service is great and the menu is so extravagant. Be sure to bring at least 100$ for two.
ReplyDeleteikes on 3489 16th Street is the best sandwich place imaginable. Go to mission dollars park down the street and sit and enjoy the city view and people! **make sure to go online and check out the menu because theirs about 30-50 more sandwiches to order from if you can't find one on the giant menu already. Free chips and lollipop come with every sandwich. After go get bi-rite ice cream down the street for interesting flavors and one of the best ice cream shops in CA or maybe even the country (there's always a line).
Okay so i know some places....and here are some suggestions if you dont already know.
ReplyDelete1.there is mission peaks its a "sight to see" you can see all of sf up on the hill.
2. you can rent bikes from fishermans wharf or lombard street and go accross golden gate bridge.
3.there is a very cool restraunt on 7th & mission called heavens dog. prices $17-20. five years award winning chef. try the chicken.
4. the best place to do your laundry and eat very very good food the biggest burger in your life and they have other stuff too all for 10 dollars on folsom and 7th. its called brain wash cafe.
5 there is private clean beach if you take pacifica highway one going south when you see a light house pull over.
6 there are ferry tours on sunday to alcatraz (well everyday) like 48 dollars. Sometimes the guy that is given the tour is the person who was the prisoner there himself. he is a old guy and he will tell you everything about al capone.
7. haight ashbury; learn all about hippies.
Maybe a trail to visit every heart statue in SF? I know they have a few, not exactly sure how many. There is a great Burmese restaurant in Daly City called Burma Cafe, 10-20 a dish, family style, really good! Also, if you are into fusion food, they have fusion Vietnamese sandwiches at a place called Toast in Daly city as well. I recommend the Korean pork Vietnamese sandwich or the Filipino sisig Vietnamese sandwich.
ReplyDeleteOKKKK sooo I really like your whole blog!!! I was born and raised in San Francisco, and I still get lost!! As far as places to go eat the list is endless but since Im from the MIssion I recommend some late night Taqueria Vallarta taco's which is on 24th St. and Balmy St. While you are there go down the Balmy St. alley and check out some very cool local art that many people don't even know is there!
ReplyDeleteAlso I highly recommend this scenic view called Kite Hill! ( Its not on any tourist guide) This view is absolutely awesome and kinda of a hidden secret among locals. Its a little tricky to get to but once you get there its amazing! I guarantee that there is no other view like it in the whole city! I put a couple links below because its verryyyy hard to find!
