Also, If you love art I will recommend you to walk around downtown since It's part of the gallery district and visit the SFMoma (Museum of Modern Art) on 3rd St. which is $11 for students; you can also visit the Weinstein Gallery on Geary St. and Gallery Paule Anglim also on Geary and Kearny St. However, if you are more interested on shopping, you need to go NOW to explore all the retail stores around Union Square and the Westfield mall on Market St. since they have end of season sales so you can get lots of good deals.
Please during the day don’t drive, enjoy the benefits of living in a big city that offers really good public transportation and leave out the stress of driving on one way streets, hundreds of people walking and the cable cars running.
Hungry?? Downtown has lots of restaurants and lot of food variety for everyone, but here are some restaurants that I like if you want to try..
John’s Grill (Sea food and Steaks)
Colibri (Mexican food)
Ready for the night? Well.. there is also many places to
visit at night so I can’t list all of
them but here are some that I like, and feel free to recommend more. I’m down
to try them!
Infusion Lounge if you want to dance..
Sit or dance in Sugar Café..
Relax after a long day and take a beer in Johnny Foley’s, they
also have live music on weekends.
So take your decision and spend a day in your city.. have
fun..!

I agree with you about the part "don't write in downtown SF." It is crazy. It took me and my friend about 20 minutes to drive from Market and fifth st to Ferry Building.
ReplyDeletei friggin LOVE downtown. i LOVE downtown. all these people from different walks of life in one place, all the music, especially the music. i can't have enough of it. the music from the street performers make me feel complete. it's funny to say but it's true.
ReplyDeleteDowntown SF is always a fun place to go to.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the recommendations, I am definitely going to check them out. I am also glad you got Johnny Foley's on there because ever since my first trip to Vegas I love dueling pianos. I think it is a great spot locally to enjoy the fun of live music!
